Each person is treated as an individual, and will therefore experience a different massage from the next person depending on which area(s) is/are the source of discomfort. Feel secure in the fact that your getting the proper treatment for your body, not a standard massage that everyone gets. In the same line, some people may feel sore the day after a massage and then feel better, but others will just feel great straight away, but in each case, there has been a change.
It is important that once you are feeling better from the initial problem to get a regular massage once a month or once every 6 weeks. This will ensure that your muscles will be more relaxed, as well as allow you to keep your pain and discomfort at bay, and even manage your stress more easily. It is better to prevent the pain from recurring than to treat the symptoms, think of it as an investment into your health.

Pregnancy Massage is also available if required. Many pregnant women experience a lot of pain and discomfort in their lower back, glutes, legs and shoulders, especially as the pregnancy progresses. The general consensus is that care should be taken in the first trimester, but it is safe to get a massage from a trained Massage Therapist. Remedial Massage can also be used in conjunction with other modalities, like Physiotherapy, Chiropractic Therapy, Osteopathy, Acupuncture etc, quite effectively to help the person get better.
